Hello there, I'm Jan your local personal trainer.

A huge welcome to you, and thanks so much for visiting my website. I'm thinking that maybe you are here because you are looking to make some improvements to your life, perhaps to boost your fitness levels, increase your strength, shed a few pounds, gain some muscle or make some changes to the way you are eating. The good news is, you've landed in exactly the right place!

My focus is always to help my clients not only gain the physical rewards of great nutrition and enjoyable movement but also the mental benefits, the boost in self-confidence, self-esteem and self-efficacy. I will help you to create improvements in each of the key areas of your life, nutrition, activity, stress levels and sleep by helping you to adopt healthy habits and find physical activities that you really enjoy.

I have tried my very best to create training options (below) that will allow you to be able to maintain your physical and mental well-being while remaining safe during these testing times.

Outdoor Personal Training

From the 29th March 2021 I can train groups of up to 5 people, providing social distancing rules are maintained. Group training can be a lovely, positive way to meet up with friends, socialise, laugh and get fit at the same time. Why not get back to nature and enjoy some highly beneficial 'green exercise'? If you would like to train with me 1 to 1 or as a group of up to 5 friends, please do get in touch.

Inside | Out Private Gym

If you are looking to work with an experienced personal trainer indoors at a fully equipped, private, sanitised and socially distanced gym Inside | Out is the answer. A beautiful, clean and light workout space available for you under the supportive guidance of you own personal trainer.

Outdoor Training Sessions

Exciting times!! Guidance means you can now train with me outdoors. I can provide personal training sessions at suitable outdoor location of your choice. YAAAAYYY!!! Equipment free, bodyweight training options are available or you can use sanitised, provided equipment.

Outdoor Small Group Training

As guidance now allows 6 people to meet, socially distanced, outdoors, small group training is GO!!. Contact me if you would like to meet with your friends in a private fitness class. It's the fun, beneficially way to meet up with friends or family.

Online Skype Training Sessions

If you are not able to go out at the moment, due to covid-19, family commitments etc online training could be a great option for you. I can provide sessions for you at home through Skype. We can use any equipment you have or train with bodyweight.

Socially Distanced Training

As we slowly return to normal, social distancing rules still have to be observed. I can provide socially distanced training either outdoors or in private gardens. Outdoor training is super beneficial for your mental health too so why not give it a try!

Nutritional Coaching

Good nutrition is the cornerstone of peak conditioning and healthy weight management. The lockdown period may provide you the opportunity to focus on improving your nutrition. If you would like help to adopt healthy eating patterns please click below for more information.

As a 40+ woman myself I know the importance of exercise, great nutrition, adequate sleep and stress reduction in maintaining our health as we age. This programme is designed specifically for ladies over 40 to help you stay in great shape, maintain your muscle mass, prevent osteoporosis, tone up and build strength for longevity as well as improving peri-menopause and menopause symptoms.

Resistance Training Programme

Learning to lift weights can be an exceptionally empowering experience. Resistance training doesn't just build physical strength but also boosts self-esteem, improves mental health, maintains muscle mass and metabolism, prevents osteoporosis and helps to maintain a healthy weight. Posture Fix Programme

Prolonged sitting can cause lower back pain, sleepy glutes and postural issues. This programme is designed to combat the issues caused by desk jobs. Using a mixture of high intensity interval training and functional resistance training I focus on boosting cardio fitness, strengthening the muscles which become weak and stretching tight muscles to create improved muscle balance, easing pain and correcting posture.
